SLO Clean Energy Presents Community Choice Aggregation to Local City Councils
This Tuesday Paso Robles Need Your Support!
The leadership team is providing education outreach to local city officials about the pathway to create community choice. There is nothing more powerful than having a member of your community stand in support during public comment. Help support your City Council Tuesday, September 3, 2013 as they consider a look into the feasibility of a local Community Choice Aggregation Program.
We’re gaining momentum after our presentations for Grover Beach, Morro Bay, and Arroyo Grande city councils.

Morro Bay City Council Meeting to Vote on Feasibility Study Resolution Next Week
On Tuesday August 27th, Mladen Bandov gave a short presentation about CCA and invited the Council to appoint a member to join a CCA Exploration Advisory Committee. This council member would meet with other appointed SLO County and City leaders on a monthly basis to discuss and understand what would be required to participate in a CCA feasibility study.
Two MB community members stood in support of pursuing this opportunity during public comment. At the end of the meeting City Council asked SLO Clean Energy to provide a list of local public supporters. If you reside or have friends in Morro Bay, be sure to sign up and share our Friends of SLO Clean Energy page.
The Morro Bay City Council wants to hear if local residents support their consideration of Community Choice Aggregation. Please sign up to be a “Friend of SLO Clean Energy” and write or call your elected official to tell them what you think.
